There will be representatives from across the entire transatlantic region at the workshop on Innovative Cleantech projects hosted by the Canadian Embassy in Copenhagen on Friday October 23, 2009.

The workshop takes-off with an introduction by the Canadian Ambassador to Denmark followed by presentations on challenges and funding possibilities for innovative projects in the transatlantic region.  Representatives from the European Commission on the 7th Framework Programme, Nordic Energy Research, NORA and relevant Canadian funding schemes will make these presentations.

The expected output of the workshop will be the initiation and road maps for funding of 3-5 innovative cleantech projects with participation of industry and research parties across the North Atlantic. The process will be facilitated by Alistar Punt from the Aberdeen based Collabro management and training company. All project ideas will be documented and structured by BlueGreenFuture.com. The material will be sent to the workshop participants and potential project sponsors for comments. Based on the feedback BlueGreenFuture will initiate 3-5 project proposals and invite to express interest in a consortium for each project proposal.

BlueGreenFuture coordinates the first meeting among the project consortia.
