Workshop on Transatlantic Cleantech in Copenhagen
The Canadian Ambassador’s Residence in Copenhagen will host a Workshop on Innovative Trans-Atlantic Cleantech Projects at the 23rd of October 2009

The goal of the workshop is to identify and define innovative projects for collaboration on the implementation of sustainable energy systems in the Trans-Atlantic area. The expected output of the workshop is initiation and funding preparation of 3-5 innovative cleantech projects with participation of industry and research parties across the North Atlantic.

The 1-day workshop will have up to 40 participants from the Nordic region and Canada. At the workshop there will be representatives from the communities and industries in the North Atlantic area interested in using more sustainable energy systems; Innovative SME’s (small-medium sized enterprises); Research and Development institutions; National & cross-national innovation schemes within cleantech; and Political authorities in the Trans-Atlantic area.

The workshop is organized by the www.NordSESIL.net project in collaboration with www.BlueGreenFuture.com and the Canadian Embassy in Denmark. Main financial supporters are Nordic Energy Research (through the NordSESIL project) and the North Atlantic Cooperation (NORA).

Workshop attendees are to contact nordsesil@risoe.dk by 16 October to ask about available seats.
